The COVID-19 Pandemic is almost indescribable, to be put simply it was a time when nothing and no one was safe. Everyone lost things during the pandemic in huge ways whether it was a loved one or a graduation or a wedding. While I did not lose any friends or family, I did lose the final half of my senior year of high school; no prom, no senior project, no real graduation, and no saying goodbye to the people who helped shape me. It was truly a devastating loss. The casualties of COVID were insurmountable and with this piece I wanted to dedicate it to our collective losses as a society.
